Ever since we bought the house, we've taken pictures like this in front of the tree for Christmas cards. It's really cool to see how much the kids have grown from year to year!

We have a tradition of getting the kids new pajamas every year and they get to open them on Christmas Eve and wear them to bed. Here they are in their new pajamas!
After the kids went to bed, we got right to work getting things ready. Everything was already wrapped but nothing under the tree yet. Josh wouldn't have left things alone and unopened if they had been under the tree too soon. I tried a new breakfast recipe that you cook in the crock pot overnight and it's ready and waiting for you in the morning. It was great!
We've spent Christmas just the 5 of us for the last several years. We really enjoy it! Here are some of the gifts from this year! The kids are wearing pajamas from Grandma Ericksen in these pictures. She made the pants and the slippers. The kids love them!
Cinderella!
Hannah was super excited to get these books, they are the only thing she asked for!
Josh got a cool robot
Hannah and Abby got a whole collection of these light up colorful fairies. Thank goodness for Target clearance! They are pretty cool, you can change their colors with this wand.
Both girls got new CD wallets with a few new burned cd's inside for them.
A cool hotwheels car track that you can build!
Fireflies that project the night's sky on the ceiling! These are pretty neat too! They project some real constellations, Hannah likes to look for them. Both of the girls got one, Josh got a Turtle that used to be Abby's that does the same thing.
He was pretty excited to open up this one!
New crayons and markers!
Brave
New wii driving game!
We got a bunch of stuff we wanted for us too, a new Blu ray player, bed sheets, movies. We also got a new dining bench to go with our table. The best gift of all was that we all got to spend the entire day together, enjoying each others company and enjoying our new stuff. Family is what it's all about. I'm so grateful for mine!
